1950s Danelectro Longhorn Bass "Copperburst"
From the collection of legendary session bassist Glenn Worf comes this late 1950s Danelectro 4423 Longhorn 4-string bass in classic "Copperburst" finish. These shortscale basses are favored for the unique tone of their "lipstick" pickups and have been used by many players over the years from The Who's John Entwistle and Springsteen's Garry Tallent. This example has been modified to include a 3-way pickup switch, a Fender-style 4-saddle bridge, and the smooth playing 24-fret neck has been refinished to natural, with black paint around the original logo. w/ OHSC
