A clean and beautiful example of an early 60's President bass! This bass delivers the unmistakable tone of a Hofner hollowbody bass with a larger, 16 1/2" wide body, short scale neck, and a pair of "Staple" pole piece pickups. A very similar bass is seen in photographs of Keith Richards tracking bass on his latest solo album. This instrument is in excellent condition, fully playable up and down the neck and set up with flat wound strings. An ideal addition to any bass arsenal!
