In 2016 Gibson Custom Shop honored legendary Cheap Trick guitarist and rock n' roll Hall of Fame inductee Rick Nielsen with a painstaking recreation of one of his prized 1959 Les Paul "bursts". Rick's experience not just as a player, but one of the original vintage guitar collector's mean that this run truly had to be right, and this example shows that they in fact did come as close as it gets to capturing the look, feel, and sound of this amazing instrument. An extremely limited run of guitars were made in different tiers, this being an aged example that was then signed by the man himself with a personalized message. This instrument is fully original with all the documentation; a perfect addition to any collection and a great choice for anyone looking for an authentic feeling 50's Les Paul!
