A beautiful ES-5 from the "golden era" of Gibson guitar production! This 1953 model features a stunningly figured maple top, rich "Sunburst" finish, and a great playing, large 50's neck. It has some light overspray on the back of the neck and a repaired jack plate but remains in otherwise excellent shape complete with the original Lifton case. A previous owner painted the brown Lifton black but kept the distinctive pink interior. A trio of original dog ear P-90 pickups deliver a great array of tones from T-Bone Walker style jump blues to mellow jazz tones, even Scotty Moore and early rock n' roll sounds all can be found with this guitar!
