1965 Gibson SG Standard "Pelham Blue"

An original example of an SG Standard in factory "Pelham Blue" finish! This transition year model features the small pickguard, chrome hardware, and a transition nut width sitting right between the 1 11/16" and 1 9/16" era Gibson size. In addition to the extremely rare finish, this guitar features a phenomenal sounding pair of original patent sticker humbucking pickups, a comfortable neck profile, and resonant mahogany body making this a fantastic playing and sounding guitar, as well. It includes the original Gibson hardshell case. A professional neck heel repair was done many years ago and remains stable, making this an otherwise fully original example of an extremely cool and rare guitar!
