If you're looking for a golden era Gibson guitar for less than the price of modern reissues, this 1955 LG-1 is an excellent choice! Tons of checking add plenty of vintage mojo without any cracks or repairs. The tuners have been replaced with a modern set requiring no additional holes but this instrument is in otherwise fully original. It's small body delivers the unmistakable Gibson flat top sound behind classic recordings by blues and folk artists, and the large '50s profile neck make this an excellent player, as well. These guitars are incredibly comfortable to play and remain some of the best deals in the vintage market.
