1965/68 Gibson J-45 w/ Factory Pickup “Natural”
Here we have an incredibly unique piece of Gibson history, a 1965 J-45 whose original owner decided he wanted to make this guitar electric as he was a major Beatles fan and had it sent back to the Gibson factory in 1968 to have a P-90 installed like John Lennon's, The P-90 sounds reminiscent of the Beatles' favorite J-160E model but with the classic acoustic punch of an X-braced J-45. With a beautiful "Natural" finish top, this a versatile acoustic-electric that would be perfect for the studio or stage with that balanced tone Gibson acoustics are favored for.
