An exceptional Les Paul just in from a private collection! This 1955 model  maintains all its original parts and is free from any breaks or repairs. The guitar was re-finished years ago and the serial number re stamped, but the top is as close to a Gibson factory finish as we've seen. The years of natural aging make it truly look as good as an original finish.  The comfortable '55 neck shape, resonant body, and original soap bar P90 pickups make this a fantastic playing and sounding instrument, as well. The guitar includes an original "cali girl" style Lifton hardshell case. If you've been on the hunt for an authentic 50's Les Paul you won't find a better choice in this price range.
