1952 Gibson Les Paul "Gold Top"
Just in from a private collection, this 1952 Les Paul Standard is one of the cleanest and best playing examples we've had in years. With a lightweight and resonant body a comfortable '50s profile neck, as well as two phenomenal sounding "soapbar" p90 pickups, this is not just a collectible instrument but a great souding one, as well. The original tailpiece is included but the guitar currently features a Glaser trapeze bridge that rests on the body allowing for a much better playing experience. The original brown case is in equally exceptionally clean condition. These early Les Pauls have long been discounted in favor of later models but players and collectors have recently found out how great they sound, while non invasive upgrades like the Glaser bridge make them much better players. An ideal addition to any arsenal!
