1975 Gibson Grabber Bass “Natural”

The solidbody basses introduced by Gibson in the early-mid 70's are some of the coolest and best sounding instruments to come out of the Norlin-era. This 1975 Ripper is a perfect example of what makes these such great basses; the lightweight maple body is extremely resonant, with a distinctive "Growl" when amplified. The moveable pickup allows for a wide variety of tonal options, and The double cut body design allows for easy access all the way up the neck. With a Flying V headstock and maple fingerboard, along with the "natural" finish it has a distinctive look to match its aggressive sound. The god of Thunder himself Gene Simmons was fond of these in the early Kiss days, which makes sense because this bass wants to rock! This example has some light play wear but remains fully original.
