1986 Yamaha SG-3000 "Metallic Black"
This 1986 SG-3000 is a fantastic playing solidbody electric made in Japan. When the Yamaha SG series came out in the late 1970s, they caught on with players disappointed in the quality control and inconsistency of Gibson guitars at the time. Players like Carlos Santana and Neal Schon made great use of these instruments which offered the familiar feel of an LP style guitar at a fraction of the price. Featuring a mahogany through-body neck, maple body, bound ebony fretboard, and 2 coil-tapping humbuckers, this guitar is in great shape and includes the original hardshell case.
