This Villela contrabass guitar is an extremely unique instrument. What appears to be a typical Spanish-style guitar actually plays more like a Bass VI, with all of its strings tuned an octave below a standard guitar. The result is a very deep and extremely resonant sound unlike anything we've heard. This guitar features a solid Spruce top and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
